therapistrates.org collects therapist reimbursement rates — what billing platforms and insurance payers pay clinicians per session — along with ownership facts and dated news about the companies involved. It also lists dated, publicly advertised private-pay fees and provides claim and contracting tools.

Where the data comes from

• Anonymous submissions. Clinicians report rates through the form — no name, NPI, or login. Submissions are reviewed for spam and added to the table, usually within a week.
• Public sources. Rates and company events collected from public discussions and press carry a link to the original source.

Public fee examples. The private-pay section records advertised fees, session lengths, locations, and credentials from linked practice pages. Each listing has a source-check date. These examples are stored separately from reimbursement reports.

How to read it

• Rates are self-reported and unverified unless marked otherwise. Report counts are shown so single datapoints read as single datapoints.
• On company pages, items marked verified cite primary or press sources; items marked community-reported summarize public clinician accounts and are presented as reports, not established fact.
• A rate depends on the payer contract, state, and sometimes license level — compare like with like.

Corrections

For a public fee correction, use the listing’s “Suggest a correction” link and include the source page. For an insurance payment correction, use the reimbursement form.

This site reports payment data and public company facts. It is not legal, billing, or contracting advice, public fee examples do not establish current appointment availability or a recommended charge. Each practice sets its own fees. Optional alert emails are used for rate-change alerts and nothing else — never displayed, sold, or shared.
