Spring Health, Rula, Lyra Health and SonderMind

Therapists report these four platforms differently. Most Rula reports list a single rate for all payers, and most Spring Health and Lyra Health reports list an EAP or leave the payer blank. Their reports therefore sit in one row per platform, with the middle half of reported payments beside the median.

Rula had the narrowest spread in this snapshot, with half of its 14 reports between $80 and $90. Lyra Health had the highest median and the widest spread, and its 9 reports likely mix EAP sessions with insurance-billed care. SonderMind has 4 reports, too few to describe a typical payment.

What this comparison can tell you

Use it to identify the rows closest to an actual offer and the questions to ask about that offer. The direct and platform columns describe different submissions. Their difference does not measure a platform fee or the increase one clinician would receive by switching contracts. The current platform and direct comparison provides updated counts.

Payment timing and conditions

Headway: payouts are on the 15th and last day, with session confirmation and payment eligibility affecting timing. Payment policy.
Alma: membership costs are separate from session payments; current dues and renewal terms are on its membership page. Billing reviews can lead to deductions or payout freezes; consult its billing conditions.
Grow Therapy: its payout FAQ distinguishes an insurance payment guarantee from collection-dependent cash sessions and no-show fees.

Limitations

Reports are volunteered, unverified and drawn from different states, license groups and service dates. A report is a row, not a count of unique therapists. Small cells can change substantially after one submission. These medians describe the sample; they do not establish a typical offer, the effect of choosing a platform, or what a platform retained from a matched claim. Compare the relevant state, license, payer, code and payment period before applying a number to your practice.
